Filey Museum has been redecorated for the 2013 season. You will not find a better or more interesting small museum in Yorkshire. From fishing to farm life our Museum demonstrates every aspect of Filey life since the stone age. Accompanied children are free (80p each for school trips to cover our extra staffing). In a virtual age of IT you and your family will be amazed at how many of the exhibits can be touched and sometimes played with. Have a go at our mechanical cash register, take brass rubbings of seashore life or have a look at the dolls houses.
The museum is now open until the last day of October Opening Hours are: Sunday to Friday 11:00am to 5:00p Saturday 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Admission for Adults £2.50. Accompanied children and young people under 18yrs free with the exception of School groups.
Filey Museum is at 8-10 Queen Street and the postcode for your GPS is YO14 9HB
