Volunteers from the Disvover Filey Project will be setting up shop from 1030 am onwards on Saturday 10th March at Filey’s Country Park, next to the new adventure play equipment. If weather conditions permits, we will be pitching our Tipi tented classroom. A seashore walk will be leaving from this location onto Filey Brigg at 11am . The low tide is at 11.40am and should be one of the best of the year.
Two school groups used the tent on our first pitching on the 28th February and our activities with microscopes and material gathered on the seashore was a massive hit. This time we hope to bring some live mini creatures back for study. Join our volunteers as we Discover the wildlife and heritage of Filey. We hope to be finished by 1.30pm and there is no charge, Accompanied children and families are welcome . Parking charges are now in place at the Country Park,
